No package. I'm sure it'll get here soon. From what I understand it just takes a little while. I will be patiently (kind of) waiting on it. And I'll keep wearing socks to bed so I don't scratch myself too badly as I sleep (I blame that on Dad for sure). I would also like a huge flash drive to back up some of my files. Maybe two flash drives so I can put some good Mormon Messages on the other to take around and show. :)
We have two young women preparing to get baptized the second weekend. We are still waiting for J's mom to give her permission to get baptized. She's great and has such a strong desire to be baptized. She's great and I love her so much. (I'll get a picture with her this week to send) The other is E, she's such a smart girl. I am excited to help her make this step in her life.
We did have another baptism date with a guy, but he started smoking pot again so that date got thrown out. He now hides from us. Which sounds sad... but it's actually a little funny. He just puts his hand over his face and thinks we can't see him. But that one really made me sad. He's a good guy but the environment he lives in is just damaging... to everyone. We'll go back this week to see what we can do.
Church was interesting. We serve in a branch that has both Spanish speakers and English speakers, many are bilingual and at least understand both, but a few only know one. So if there are a lot that don't understand English we have a headset and someone translates. If there are just a few, it's our responsibility as missionaries to do so. I have been getting a good amount of Spanish practice. Yesterday during Sacrament meeting I translated to Spanish for a young gal and in Gospel Principles to English for an investigator. It's actually really cool.
