I did know about those missions. (In her mom's letter her mom was telling her about some missions that are very unlike the one she is on, where they only do service and teach English. They are not allowed to preach the gospel or baptize). There was one in South America (I can't remember where exactly) that they were just there to help the poor and teach English. Service is service right? Yeah, but when you have the mind set of a mission like what I am doing or what's considered "normal" it can be discouraging.
Aw! I miss President Kaski! I am sweating like crazy all day everyday. I miss the snow. But I think I am going to die when I come back home. Hot and sweaty here and I going home in OCTOBER! Yikes. I am going to die. I get cold here sometimes... I GET COLD! How is that possible?
My health is good. Bug bites are few. I am happy. I am healthy. I am going to have 7 months next week. I miss my old normal life sometimes but I know that I was always meant to be here in El Salvador. Please study preach my gospel. Mom, this book is an amazing tool to build your testimony and help you be a member missionary. I have put 20 minutes in every day to study PMG. I do not regret a single minute of it. Tips? Use the scripture study sections and do the activities. Pray before your study session and always look at the end of the chapters for the personal study ideas. They're great!
Haha. I am glad you guys liked the package. I promise to not open things I shouldn't (when her Christmas package arrives). Also the money thing. I got a little crazy with my money this last month because I wanted to order pizza like 3 times... haha. I'm sorry. Also I just really love giving. So sometimes I buy things and then give it away. Like a bag of rice or cookies. I don't know, I just feel bad sometimes that I have all this stuff and people here don't. Also i bought a nice pair of flats for Zone conferences and temple trips... Which we had this week.
I love the temple! I got some personal revelation there... I will be getting my patriarchal blessing. It will be in Spanish and you won't be here but I know it's what I need to do. One day you'll come to the temple here with me mom. You'll love it! :)
I love you so much momma!
Siempre tu hija,
Kelibell.
