I am wearing my contacts. I still have almost a full box so don’t worry. I am doing just fine on contacts. And I’m not sure how it ripped… but I’m glad I saw that and threw it out. I haven’t gotten any mail recently but the Alico’s have been out of the country so maybe there will be something there waiting for me. I’m glad you like the mail I send. I like writing my favorite mom ever. : J did not get baptized this weekend. We don’t really know what’s up with her. We didn’t get to see her the past few days. We’re trying again today. I’ll keep you updated on what’s going on. We’re working hard to find really good and prepared people. But it’s rough.

So this week has been very not interesting, Monday I ended up burning my feet on the cement during the water balloon fight. Needless to say I was not allowed to work Tuesday. The Wednesday I was taken to Orange Walk to hang out with a sister that broke part of her hand and needed to rest because she also hit her head when she crashed on her bike. Good thing I love Sister Savage, haha. So that was fun but I was very happy to be working again in Corozal. Nothing to exciting happened this week. We did go to a ruin yesterday on a boat. I love Brother Moreno (he’s the one that took us). He’s really great.

So my 3 favorite missionaries are dying in the end of 2 weeks.(this is a missionary term for when their mission is ending). I am playing a prank on one of them that I am going home with them for my health. He legit believes me. I think I will tell him today that it’s all a prank. But I’ll write more about it so you guys will know what’s up with that. :) And how I have everyone in on it.  

May 4

I am doing good. My week was a bit slow but it went well. Nothing too new or exciting. Church was good. I especially enjoyed the musical number we did as a district of missionaries. We sang Helaman's Army song. Elder Tague (senior missionary from Belize City) thought it was really good. We also had a special fast yesterday for J. She has a baptismal date for this week.

I am so happy for Edgar, I knew that it would be coming soon. I  forgot that The Joaquin's daughter would be back this last month. Crazy! I bet they are just so happy. 

I'm glad Rachel had a good birthday. I ended up making cupcakes this week because Sister Alico and Rachel share a birthday. Haha. 

I'm glad you got to just talk with Natalie. I bet that's good to have that one on one and just talk and see how she's doing. 

I was just telling a member yesterday that the only place there are pictures on walls in our house is in my room and Rachel's room. Jajaja. I'm glad. Be prepared to put up a Mayan head or two. I got some I'm excited about. I'm actually working on getting a package sent out. Everything will be labeled for who it is. But Still open it privately so other people don't see that you're getting a ton of cool stuff. jajaaja. But a lot of it will be my stuff too. That I can't use yet. Mayan heads... big earrings... etc. 

So last P-day we made pizza and played apples to apples. It was a lot of fun! Yesterday I made tortillas and each time thy just taste better and better. Be sure when I get home there are a lot of beans and flour. I think I'll still be eating that a lot. Jajaja. 

But yeah. So that's life. :)

Thank you for the prayers. They are always welcome. I am doing well. I am enjoying the slightly cooler weather we have been having. It's been a little rainy but I've stayed rather dry. This week it got to 103* but with humidity it felt like 120* and I can testify to that. But I am chuggin right along. :)

I did get a new camera. Nikon S2800. I really like it. I will make a list of those and get to work on sending those. But I really want ones with my English name tags as well (which I still haven't gotten yet).

Rachel told me a little about your plans for this weekend and I am excited! I can't wait to see some fun pictures. I bet you guys will have a blast. I hope we do something fun this coming P-day. I've been getting a little bored doing the same things over and over again. But we'll be going to a multi-zone this week. Yay! I love President Hintze's multi-zones. 

This week hasn't been all that exciting except celebrating a birthday (a member in the branch I'm very close to). We went and heart attacked her car while she was a work. It was an awesome surprise. She thought it was great.

Also I am now living not only with Sister Nunez (who I lived with in my first transfer) but also Sister Urbina (who was companions with Nunez my first transfer). It is crazy funny how 3/4 of us are living together again. As well as my favorite Elder just became one of my zone leaders. He was in my zone back in El Salva. (Elder Fowler who said hi earlier). So basically this transfer is going to be amazing. Sadly E. Fowler leaves this transfer and goes back to good old Utah. 

But yeah. So that's life. I'm excited to be skyping you. It will only be 45 minutes long so prepare well. Have questions, have stories ready... and no recording me unless I give permission. Got it? Good. :)

Haha. I love you so much mom! I will be sending out a postcard and a letter to you.
