I am doing great. I've gotten my package and I love it. I'm glad you got my package. There's another coming but it's just full of a few letters I wrote really quick. So sorry they'll suck a little. Haha- I won't want to come home mom, but I will be happy to be home at the same time. :) Trust me. I will be happy to be with my mommy again. Don't you worry. Thank you for sending out the letters. I feel bad that they'll be so late... but I'm also a broke missionary so... yeah. Haha. I will be so happy to get an SD card. I actually need a new one for the rest of my mission but yeah. I still have a small one of like 8 minutes of video I can take. Yeah. I was in the pila (The sink where she washes her clothes) every couple of days. My whites are surprisingly white for washing by hand. Haha. I have a couple of things that are just stained and there's nothing I can do about it. Haha. I'm glad you liked my testimony in Spanish. I totes messed up but I didn't want to do it again. Hahah. 

Just remember to pray for understanding! (This after her mom said something about how hard it is to read the parts of 2 Nephi where it references Isaiah). Also look at the institute and seminary manuals to understand better. I would love to have that book Isaiah for Dummies. but I think going on personal revelation might help a little more. I am so jealous that you get to go to the temple so much. Happy but jealous. I miss the temple so much! Aw! Yay! I love Primary! I think I want a calling in there or in young women's when I get back! 

So highlights of my week....

I got the package! I LOVE IT! I have been wearing the shirts to bed and I have been wearing the necklace from Rachel at least 4 times this last week. I miss the snow so much and it reminds me a lot of Michigan. Also I ate all of the twizzlers... but I won't say in how short of time.. .that's just embarrassing. Haha. 

I have been learning words that are specific to El Salvador or have meanings different here than in other areas. chuco is dirty. or choco is blind,. Haha.

We have a few new investigators but sometimes I feel like they only listen to us because I'm white skinned with blondish hair and have really pretty eyes. One of our news hardly talks to my companion but talks almost only to me... haha. It's a little funny. With him it's fine because he doesn't creep me out. But others... sometimes it does. But for that I carry around a rock. Haha. to throw at dogs... or men. Haha.

Well yeah. I love you momma so much and I really hope all is well with the family. Pass my love along to all!

He was so happy. Right after he told us how happy he was, I was so stoked. :)

It's been getting warmer this week. 

I'll keep you in my prayers that you will get a new job.  

I am so proud of Rachel! That's awesome that she's working on reading scriptures with Mariah. 

I still haven't gotten my package, so HA! I haven't opened it yet. 

I would love to do everything to help the sisters (missionaries) feel at home in our house next Christmas. I felt at home because of the people I was with but I would of loved to have our type of food, etc. 

This week the highlight was the baptism and interviews with President. 

I will probably be in Belize in February! :D

That makes me happy. I've been doing really great. I'm just so happy about being a missionary. We have a few others we're working with. We might have another baptism this week, and if not this week then the first of Feb. :)

Addresses don't work here mom. Haha. I know you would love to do that but I don't know if I can find it out. But you can send a slightly bigger envelope with the letter inside for them but to me. Does that make sense? It's the Zelaya Family. 

My week has been good. I feel like this will be a short letter just because I talked to you just a few days ago. No new investigators but two potentials that we found who work in a pupusaria and are family of a recent convert. She wants to go to church but she has a problem walking. We did a service with her. We helped her bag salsa and stuff like that for when she sells the pupusas. We get to do little services like that on a weekly basis.

Well here we'd call those mom's baggy or there trunky. It's like that a lot of times... also there are a few missionaries that are like that as well. 

I haven't thought of any resolutions yet... I'm still working on them. They do a lot of fireworks here for New Years. It's kind of like our 4th of July. 

I can't believe Edgar's getting married! OH MY GOODNESS! That makes me so happy! We have a girl from my ward that is going to the temple square mission. She's so happy. I told her we'd go visit her when we go to Utah after I'm back. 

Well I really don't have much to talk about. Sorry. I told you everything when we Skyped this last week.  I Just want to share Mosiah 23:21 

Nevertheless the Lord seeth fit to chasten his people; yea, he trieth their patience and their faith. 

let's change chasten to Challenges. You told me the time for you was slow... it's just to try your patience and faith.

Sorry that the last two emails have been so short. I just haven't had anything to write about. I'm sorry. I have more to write about this week so don't you worry this one will be much longer. I am healthy, happy, and loving being a missionary. I have plans to be skyping at about 1:30 or 2pm (time here) on Christmas day, I hope that works out fine for you guys. You guys should do a test run with Rachel at home and with Jacob or Stacie to make sure everything is good and I will be able to hear and everything. Please write a list of questions and things you want to tell me about so  you don't forget anything.   I'm glad you guys were able to go hang out and eat pizza. I love Christian. He's way to cute. It's funny because about 10 minutes before I started to write I started singing Michael Jackson's Billy Jean is not my girl. Haha. 

My companion made a comment on how great it was that you wrapped so much of the stuff. I laughed and told her she you should be dying right now wrapping all the presents. Haha. I love that saying (my sunday belongs to the dead (walking dead reference)), I want a shirt like that... but I think I will be better about not watching it on Sundays... so... my monday belongs to the dead. Haha. 

I'm getting along great with my companion. She works really hard and I like that. I am so thankful for the prayers and the packages, I love you so much. Thank you for being such a good example to me. 

So I promise everything is good. 

Lunes... we went bowling. We ate Wendy's and it was a really fun day.

Martes...I met the weirdest guy on Tuesday. He told me he's rich, in love with me, and he wants me to marry him. It was weird. He also said I was so pretty that I would heal his sick mom if she saw my face. It was so weird... but that's being a gringa in El Salvador. Haha.

Wednesday... We've been working with our cook's son. He's a little tough, but I think he'll come around.

Jueves... Zone meeting. It was great I loved it! I love my zone so much they're super great.

Viernes... I am in love with a song called "Darte un Beso" by Prince Roycee. My cocinera played it for me... I'm in love! Haha. Also Jonathan wants to get baptized. As long as everything goes good we'll have a baptism in January!!! I am so stinkin happy!

Sabado... I saw a Latino Norman Reeves... it was great. Jonathan accepted  to be baptized on the 10 of January! He just has to come to church every week until then! He's really excited.

Domingo... He came to church! He was telling everyone that he's going to get baptized. He's so excited. We also had a multi-zona it was awesome. Afterwards we went to a Stake Devotional. The coro was so beautiful. I loved it. 

Today we went and ate with the Reyes family again. It was delicious. And now I'm writing, we'll be going bowling again today.
