My companion thought the food was good. They eat turkey for Navidad in the Latin American countries.
Mom I would love to go out to Utah and go through the temple with you and your family at the end of Novemeber... maybe you could do Thanksgiving again out there? Just saying... :)
I am so glad you got to see all your family. But I'm glad everyone's doing well! It makes me so happy to hear that everything is so good with them!
I love the photos you sent! One of the elder's here is from that area. He was so stinkin' geeked to see them. Haha.
Things have been great here.
Tuesday I went to see a medic about my head and he told me everything would be just fine. He gave me a little medicine for my pain. I stopped taking them yesterday (Sunday) and it was better. We had an awesome lesson with a family we found. They're a little religious... a little too much sometimes for them to understand, However she's really accepting. I played voleyball with some of the youth here. It was so much fun but I was a little sore the next day.
Wednesday we went and our cook had chicnguna... the new type of Dengue. Poor thing. We got to give service and we helped clean her house. But this day was pretty good. We returned to check on her again a few hours poor thing couldn't get out of bed. I was so sad.
Thursday We had planning and our meetings. We did our district meeting in the baptismal font. I loved it. It was an awesome idea. We just sat on the stairs and talked about the lesson he had planned. We had a lesson with the same family I talked about on Tuesday it was a good lesson... but me and my comp got called profets... We had to help him understand we can't be prophets, he doesn't want to believe it...
Friday we have another family that we found last week that we are teaching. I love them and they are so prepared but they go to a different church... we'll work something out with them. Ught they're so great!
Saturday so we go to visit one of the members in our ward and the son (17yrs) answers the door and tells us he's the only one and so we couldn't enter. He looks outside and he says that the patio is so dirty and he asks if we want to give service and clean it. So we begin to sweep and his mom comes walking up the street. "Oliver! With out shame!" Haha. It was so funny. His face was just so shocked. So I have to give a talk this Sunday, I prepared Saturday night.
Sunday... My talk went awesome. Everyone told me it was great I loved all of church.
I can't believe I am in El Salvador. Somedays it is just so crazy. I just look around, I am in El Salvador and I am speaking Spanish at least 13 hours everyday. Wow. I love it here mom.
