So I had no excitement waiting for the plane. I did talk to one really sweet older Mexican woman, but only for a little. The turbulence was like super insane, there was a storm coming in. I was picked up with one other <Elder, and we rode with a guy from the CCM and it was crazy! The driving was insane, I saw ONE speed limit and that was out of a 25ish minute drive. There were also very few lines on the rode. So crazy! No Dork Dot! :( I have a companion, Hermana Clement. I love her. She´s so sweet! We get along great! She's going to Florida. There are only two others going to my mission right now and they're not in my district..., but I do get to say hi to them and eat at meal times with them. The luggage is fine, It'll work out just fine. I don't know the sister from Aunt Kelly's ward. I love it here. The language is coming I've already taught my first "investigator" like three times and will be again tonight. THE FOOD IS AMAZING! the fresh fruit is so delicious. The temple is under remodeling. So we'll have a chance to go to the visitor center and see it from a short distance. BOO! But oh well. I'll survive. I love the CCM so much. Seriously, lots of hard work but so amazing.

I miss Mariah so much. It's weird not having her around so much like I used to. I look at the picture I have of me and her, she's the sweetest.

OH MY GOSH! The earthquake! It was so small, but I could feel it! I was so excited. Oh it was so cool. There's a siren and you have to go to this "meeting point" which is a big circle outside and kind of away from buildings/trees. So that was so cool.

I'm glad youi're being able to look up and be positive about this. I think following that advice would be a very good idea.

The weather here is totally amazing, I've seen some really good thunderstorms. But for the most part it's been getting in the low 80s and at night getting into like 50s and it just is so great. I love it!

I'm so glad you liked the letter, I was hoping to get things that everyone needed. Thanks for telling me about FB stuff. Keep those coming for sure. I love to hear about that stuff.

Thanks for cleaning out my room and such. I'm excited for you to get to hang out with your sister... I know mine (Rachel) is having a rough time without me. I'm glad my room will get some use.

So for this week...
Super crazy busy. But I love it. I'm usually exhausted at night and get pretty good sleep. I'll be attaching pictures soon. I LOVE my district is has three sets of Hermanas and two sets of Elderes. I room with mi compaƱera hermana Clement and then another set of sisters in my district; Hma. Bennion and Hma. Corbin. They're pretty great. They're going to Cali.

We had an Easter devotional Sunday, Pres. Uchtdorf was at the Provo MTC and we got it broadcasted here. It was really good. We also have DEVOs every Tuesday, so last night we heard from Elder Oaks... also from Provo.

I love my teachers. Hma. Arno y Hmo. Gutierrez. They're great and super funny, both from Mexico city. I've been biking for half of my gym time and playing volleyball for the other half. Everyone loves to play volleyball here. There are some really good Elders and a few good sisters. I have an Elder I call my volleyball bestfriend because after my first day playing we ran into eachother on our way to dinner and he was like hey! You're the sister who played volleyball with us right? and I'm like yeah.. and he proceeded to tell me how good I was. And we're on again for playing Friday, that'll be fun.
I've got to go. I love you and I miss you! I'll be seeing you soon.

Love you so much,
Hermana Mims.

Day one

Hola!
I´ve made it to the CCM! Woohoo! Today was nuts. I just got regestiered and am going throught that proccess but we get to send a quick email to our parents..., Rachel´s on here just because she´ll see it sooner and will tell you mom. :)
So I love Mexico! Seiously although the drive here was like super insane.... we arrived safely and I love it here! I was so meant to be here. It´s not only beautiful but I know I am supposed to be here. And holy wow my Spanish is rusty. The flight was delayed like half an hour and we had a crazy amount of turbulance... like seriously cray. ;) But after half an hour of feeling like I was going to vomit, we landed and it soon subsided.
I really wish I would of gotten a duffle bag instead of a carry on... luckily I´m strong. Haha.
I hope you´re doing okay Mom. I love you so much and I know this is hard for you but I promise it will be worth it for the both of us. Also tell Mariah I´m crying because she didn´t give me a hug! BOOO! Also I will be able to skype home for 25 minutes on Mother´s day.  I'm not sure. It looks like my P-day will be on Wednesday... but I´m not sure the schedule is a little hard to read.
I´m also waiting on my companion. I know her name but´she hasn´t arrived just yet.
Again. I love you! You´re the best! And hey, we´re almost done with day one! How easy was that? This will be a piece of delicious cake.
Siempre,
Hermana Mims
